Rutland Business Association

The Rutland Business Association (RBA) is composed of professional and business men and women who are interested in coming together to make a difference in the community and to further the goals of business leadership.

RBA MISSION STATEMENT:

1. Be a source of help and encouragement to new and existing businesses and entrepreneurs by keeping current on all issues that may impact local business.

2. Encourage the interaction and use of member's services.

3. To support local organizations and programs through civic involvement.

4. To encourage mentoring programs for youth, youth employment, youth civic involvement.

NEXT RBA MEETING MONDAY JUNE 4, 2012! 6:30 PM AT THE TAVERN

THIS WILL BE BASICALLY A BUSINESS MEETING--WE HAVE PLENTY OF BUSINESS

1. DINNER: CHOICE OF GORGONZOLA STEAK (cooked as you like) OR SEAFOOD CASSEROLE. ALL MEALS INCLUDE SALAD, VEGETABLE, COFFEE OR TEA, DESSERT AND TAX AND TIP ($20.00). CALL WITH MENU CHOICE AND NUMBER ATTENDING 508-886-4959.

2. PRESENTATION OF TWO SCHOLARSHIPS

3. NOMINATING COMMITTEE AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS (SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN MAY)
ALL IN ONE SESSION IF POSSIBLE--see note below.

4. DECISIONS ON 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION AND FOOD BOOTH

5. ANY OTHER OLD OR NEW BUSINESS

Since the change in our by-laws annual election of officers is to take place in May. We did not have a meeting in May so it is hoped that we may be able to nominate and elect at same meeting. Please be advised that we are on the brink of dissolution. We need some persons to step forward and agree to run the RBA--new ideas are needed.
